    I think phantasm set the standard for movies that dont make sense but do, then dont again. Like for instance ( in the mouth of madness) for example.       mike pearson is a troubled teenager who has lost his parents & his brother & thinks he’s next.is he just traumatized & having nightmares or is the tall man real after all ? it’s very surreal !

      interesting films indeed…but then there is no reason why horror be logical and satisfying ;p
