The original is my favourite because it introduces Freddy, the kills are by far the best and it’s probably the scariest. Out of the other films I prefer Dream Warriors and New Nightmare but they’re all close to my heart!

Indeed. Good choices. I adore the 1st one aswell because of the way they introduced Freddy. He was much scarrier and they did well caputring how creepy he is. New nightmare is creative and made fred a lot more creepy and dark

the original,no explanation neccessary.part 3 for all the nice kills and the worm.fvj for the sweet fight scenes and story.

we already knew that though……he killed children before teenagers!!!!

while thats evil he killed them one at a time.this time he slaughtered them.its a very drastic change.

i would believe that if he had the chance he would always spree the life out of teenagers, but he is stuck one at a time in dream land…..

Nightmare 1…the film that started it all. i also love 3, and the New Nightmare…two words…Heather Langenkamp!

Dont get me wrong i love the first, and it IS the best… but i like the second one, Freddy’s revenge. Theres a pool party scene where Freddy enters the real world. He shows a god-like complexity when he raises his arms and says “You’re all my children now”. Iconic. :banana:

New Nightmare tried to be scary but didnt manage it

the 1st is the best.i like the others but the original movie was a fresh take on the slasher at the time.freddy was the first one that was already dead.

Deff. the original is my fav. I still get goosebumps when we first meet freddy in the dark alley way and he does that arm stretch thing and scratches the wall. I can’t watch in the dark haha.

orignal(number 1) cause just when u first saw this one it was fucking scary and after number one they where stilll good but not the same creepyness u get!

Sure it was a bummer at first. But then I realized that its was going to happen. Its just like the Ibanez Iceman, the original was first and always be. Then came the Washburn PS500. Pretty much the same shape, but changed. Looks neat but nothing compared to the original.

just like christmas, i’m excited yet apprehensive for it to happen.
I think I’m more curious than anything, The new actor is pretty good, and hopefully he can pull it off.
I haven’t really been keeping up with it lately, sadly everything just exploded at the end of the semester, i’m suprised i’m still sane!

I’m really lookin’ forward to seein’ it, but just by watchin’ I realized many cool things were changed from the original and that’s a “turn off”

He’s also in Little Children. He plays a paedophile in it and he goes to extremely drastic measures to prevent himself from offending again! I think he was nominated for an Oscar for it too.

That’s why I’m pretty sure he’ll do a good job. It’s just the rest of the film I’m a bit worried about. From the clips that I’ve seen I think I’ll probably like Katie Cassidy’s role in the film too.

Me too. Only character that worries me in this one is Rooney mara as Nancy. I havent ever seen her act before.
