ViewWhen Michael “sawed” off Richard Brake’s characters head with a piece of the wreckage, after hitting the cow. That sound effect was grisly man…grisly. Still makes me squirm. And it’s even more unnerving because the whole thing takes place while “The Things We Do For Love” is playing on the radio.

ViewAgreed, and there is a strange, peaceful closer to that for me. I feel Michael is truly at rest. I don’t care what they do with this H3 movie, but Michael is at peace in my eyes hehe.

^ I prefer H2 for the exact same reason Bear Jew, but we’ve had this discussion before. ;p
H2 is to H1 just like TDR is to Hotc. It’s Zombie doing his own thing. It’s raw, unnerving and brutal…and I love it!

Personally I loved Zombie’s take on Halloween, but then again I’m biased I guess, because I just love his style period. I understand some hate it, but I hope we can keep this group from becoming yet another “bash RZ thread” and discuss we hated it or loved it, instead of just attacking him.

ViewThis is one remake I actually enjoyed. I can’t say it’s better than the original, but it was well done.
The original just had this…dirty feel to it. The folk music playing, while all this horrible stuff is going on just made it creepy as hell. It’s one of those ” I need to take a shower” after watching it flicks.
