Inside, Martyrs, Frontiers, Switchblade Romance, Them….All superb, but I would have to put Inside first as it shocked the socks off me (and still does). Not many films can break all boundries like that and still be creepy.

Rosemarys Killer (AKA Prowler)…The scene in the swimming pool where he rams a knife through the top of her skull and out of her chin…Simple and effective….ALSO, Halloween II, the corridor scene with the scalpel…Classic!

Martyrs is superb, stays with you like Inside did (although not quite as disturbing). Haute Tension has gotta be up there with the favourites, the bedroom throat-slash was very realistic.
