Italian Horror Lovers April 29, 2012 7:00 amLucio Fulci is the best director in my mind. He made some great Movies like When Alice broke the mirror, Zombie 2 and lots more. My alltime favorite horror movie is The Beyond, it got everyting. Its like a real Nightmare.
Ruggero deodato is also a little of a favorite but Fulci is #1 in my oppinion. -

Italian Horror Lovers May 24, 2009 5:30 pmSo who is everyone’s favorite Italian Horror director?
Mine is Lucio Fulci with Sergio Martino or Umberto Lenzi coming in second.
-
Lucio Fulci is the best Italian horror director of all time.
-
If any of you ever get a chance you should watch Hell Of The Living Dead by Bruno Mattie.
-
Mine is Dario Argento, but then again, I just got into Italian horror.
-
I would have to go with Lucio Fulci. His films are just so much fun, and totally awesome. Then in second I would probably put Argento.
-
I have HOTLD but have not watched it yet. I need to though.
-
I love Argento & Fulci, I think I just love more Argento films. I also really dig the Bava’s & Michele Soavi.

It’s a tie for me between Lucio Fulci and Mechele Soavi. Gods among men, they are.
-
its cheesy but id have ta say argento but i love lucio fulci
-
I love Lucio Fulci’s work. Zombi 2, City of the Living Dead and The Beyond are all works of gorific art. House By the Cemetary is one of the creepiest movies I have ever seen in my life.
However I am a rabid Dario Argento fan! Suspiria is one of the greatest horror films of all time IMHO. Plus Tenebre, Phenomena and Deep Red are also personal…[Read more]

Fulci for me, with Argento very close behind.
The Beyond is a masterpiece!
-
I know the worst if anybody would read my discussion.
-
Fulci hands down. THE BEYOND was my gateway film into the underground. A Masterpiece!
-
Lucio Fulci !!!

Well…at least you like Pi.
Yeah, I couldn’t get through . , while good, was in-your-face gritty and the only drug movie I ever really loved was . I was so pleasantly surprised by , and I love a modern B&W flick.[Read more]
Not a fan of Pi, not a huge fan of Requiem, but The Fountain is one of my all time favorites and The Wrestler was pretty good.
Yeah, lunakk, I’m not sure if we can be friends anymore.
Yeah, I figured my refusal to agree with everything you say would quickly end our relationship.;)
I’ve yet to see The Wrestler, but I anticipate it to be good.
Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain are both amazing movies. Still haven’t seen PI or The Wrestler. Will get on that soon.
Can’t wait to see Black Swan. Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in a lesbian scene = WIN!
Requiem, Fountain and Wrestler are brilliant movies. Everything this guy touches turns out gold.
Pi i don’t know what the fuck i see in this movie but i love it,since it reminds me of my best friend which i miss, she pretty much loves Aronofsky.
Pi and Requiem of course my favs.
Haven’t seen Pi
, The Fountain doesn’t really look like my thing but Requiem For A Dream is absolutely amazing! It’s so intense and emotional, definitely a top fave of mine. Black Swan on the other hand is THE top fave of mine! I do truly believe it’s the best film ever made. The Wrestler was a great character piece and brilliantly directed as…[Read more]
