I would love the fast track. Nice idea! but yeah, yearly is a bit much and the saw franchise seems a bit precarious at the moment even though i’m a fan.
I find it hilarious how H2 fans are trying to drag TFD down with them on this because they were so confident they would win at the BO. It’s beyond me how people can diss a film that is still no.1…[Read more]

2 weeks at the box office and our franchise is still top! OWNAGE!
So, what do you reckon about the possibility of FD5?
I think New Line would be absolutely mad not to after the success of this one.

    • Yes! The reason why each and every FD have been as successful as they have been is simply because unlike Saw and other franchises, they don’t release a film EVERY damn year. They wait a nice while and then release one. This is the key to prolonging the life of a franchise.

With the success of TFD, I hope for more books, a TV series, and Of…[Read more]

    • TwistedFate_L4 – mmm… i love FD… and don’t care if i have to wait years to see the new one… however, i don’t mind a yearly screening either… some movie-makers just do things differently (i am a devout SAW fan, but that’s beside the point)
anyway, i think it won’t be a surprise if (or better yet, when) they announce part 5…

    • mssw/imback,

Saw is VERY successful, but sooner or later, the general audience will get sick of seeing one EVERY single year, like most people are now. But I say hey, as long as they are good, keep ‘em coming, but Saw V, despite being a financial success, is the weakest of the series. A possible sign that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to just…[Read more]

    • Another danger of releasing a sequel every year is that fans can take the franchise for granted. “Oh, I’ll just wait for Saw VI to hit video, there will be another next year anyway”. This is what killed Friday The 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street back in the 80′s. Every year there was a new Jason or Freddy film, by the early 90′s the general…[Read more]

    • Ultor, I so agree with you. Now H2 fans are trying to blame it on the teenage audience. I’m fresh out of High School and I know for a fact that teenagers will go see ANY horror film that’s out. Rather its FD or Halloween or Friday The 13th, they’ll go see it. Horror films have always had teenaged audiences. So I have no idea what that has to do…[Read more]

    • But, how it will be called? THE FINAL DESTINATION 2????? They’ve a lot of ideas to follow this franchise, but sooner or later, something seemed to SAW movies will happen… I think a TV series like Harper’s Island could work perfectly… (If I was producer, I’ll do it XD)
      I should wait to October 30th (my birthday :D ) to see TFD… U.U
      So I…[Read more]

    • “Producer Craig Perry has confirmed that there are plans to go ahead with a new Final Destination film, making The Final Destination the second to last installment in the series”

    • I just saw TFD and I think it was completely awesome!
However, idk if there should be a new one… It was a great way to end the series, it had that, “last movie in the series, so its gonna be epic and impossible to beat” thing. I`d be all for a great sequel, but it`d have to be even more amazing than TFD.

    • well it was from wikipedia… but the stupid site today changed it already.
Guess I should choose a better source to site from :)

    • Hi I loved the final destination film series & hope that Craig Perry will do another Final Destination.which will be number 5 in the series. The series is still very strong and not boaring and has none stop acting which keeps you entertained through out each and every film so I’m defintely supporting Mr Perry in making another final destination.

    • Hi Guys.I hope like I said before Producer Craig Perry does a Final Destination 5. But this time do something completely different. Having the person with the vision who saves everyone die first & having death decide in any order when people will die. Making the survivors do completely different things to the last final destination movies. Having…[Read more]

    • I would love to see The Last Destination < lol just made a FINAL title, I would love to see it made in Tokyo, you know the budget could be around $30 million, Tokyo always has good Special Effects so it would already be easy, I'd love to see it about a American who lives in Japan and goes to a opening of a mmmm like a huge building that falls down…[Read more]

I love the Final Destination franchise. I still would love to see a sequel. There needs to be a cruise ship. • that is actually an amazing idea! I thought TFD would be the end but it is true that even though they died, hundreds were still saved…and the idea of the premonitionist dying first is really cool too.

    • finally announced.:D:D:D i love all of em.

    • my idea is that all the people from the fourth movie who survived (Nick saved people at the theater) at an accident. Now like right after the premonition the main guy has a vision and as they all wonder whats gonna happen the main guy does something to save the group, but then HE dies!
So now they have to try to figure it all out without the main…[Read more]

    • I guess great minds think alike.
      Ha.

    • I wrote once a FD story about the idea of an opening disaster in a waterpark… It could be great to see it in the 5th one! :D

    • It will be a bridge disater for Part 5.:pirate:

    • ohh that would be awesome if they made at 5th one:) but they dont realy have any survivors from any of the others films so it would be kinda hard to make another one so it might not be made:(, well the could start fresh with new people:):headstab:

    • if they do make it i hope it will be epic man i can’t wait!!!!!!

TFD – A straight up thrill ride that really got me pumped whilst i watched it. The 3D was a great addition and it was nice to see the lead having frequent premonitions aswell. The comedy worked here on so many levels. The irony of the racists death was superb and Hunt’s character was spot on but i felt that it was a bit too short, the ending kind…[Read more]

FD3 – I kind of like this the more i watch it. The acting on the lead characters part was good and worked well and also extra’s reactions to the deaths were better but there were some wooden characters. I didn’t much mind the stereotypes. I thought it was fun for these kind of people to bite it because they’re all sooo annoying in real life. The…[Read more]

FD2 – Brilliant film that i like for different reasons than the first. The acting could have been more polished but there were characters i did like, Rory being one of them. The deaths just took the franchise to a whole new plain. the barbed wire slice and the glass crushing are two of my all time favourites and the effects look brilliant. The…[Read more]

FD – I love the first film. It is original and has some really good acting in it when compared with some of the later films. I especialy liked Sean William Scott’s role. The deaths were cool. The bus, the clothesline, the plane explosion (which is rated one of the top plane crashes of all time by the way) I loved how it took the premise seriously…[Read more]

Another good week and we’re definitely on the way to convincing new line that this horse still has life in her. I think we should keep this group open. We all really love the franchise and its kind of cool having a hub for all the fans though someone should look into making a full on website.

Just found this on wikipedia and it made me think.
Was Hunt’s death inspired by the death of Abigail Taylor (age 6) who died in 2008, 9 months after several of her internal organs were sucked out of her lower body whilst she sat on an excessively powerful swimming pool drain. After several months, surgeons replaced her intestines and pancreas…[Read more]

IsuLrae has made some very well-thought out points. TFD was a great, visceral and fast-paced thrill ride that i loved and the 3D made it even better. Coupled with the fact that i love the franchise it just made it really awesome and i was so hyped to see it but aspects were lacking. The jokes were great, many of the deaths were cool, the opening…[Read more]

Its weird, this question has been bothering me and i know you might not be able to answer because its about the unexplored lore of the franchise. We know if a survivor saves someones life that person dies too but i was thinking… what if a survivor killed someone so if they had died originaly that person would still be alive. Could it be a way to…[Read more]

If you were to do another one which i hope you do as judging by the behindthescenes material on the DVD’s, you enjoy it all very much (great bit where you requested the heart ventrical to land on Wendy’s face and Wong just turned away in disgust) any ideas for the opening accident? This franchise is one that modern moviegoers can see time and time again and really appreciate the ride they have been taken on. And about werentmeanttosurvive, hell, the guy had it coming. Oh no! You’re leaving on Friday? gee, thats a real bummer. Its been great talking with you.
I do have to say that i think New Line will be on your ass for another movie. To some it may feel ‘right’ that a franchise ends but look at Paramount with F13 the final chapter or Lionsgate with SAW. These people are out for the money and if a genius like…[Read more]

Oh and also, just quickly i LOVED how funny you made it here. That was something i think the other ones slightly lacked in. These are kind of black comedies and the laughs were brilliant in this movie. If you do another one, even if you do take a darker route and maybe kill a fourteen year old (dun…dun…dun!) its good for the jokes to be there.…[Read more]

Dark Sky, that was awesome! I really dug the camera work like when you zoomed on the stove when it was turned on and the bit with the microwave rebounding the broom handle and stuff. Some great stuff there, thanks for the link!
