Iv played resident evil 5 on PS3 and its addictive, with a deep plot, excellent characters and tense action scenes.
If your looking for a more frantic, gory zombie shooter, which also has gr8 ratings, left4dead and soon left4dead 2 is a must-buy.

There are NO ZOMBIES in LEft FOr DEad…they’re more like 28 Days later infected….

Resident evil 5 and Left4dead are totally different zombie shooters (yes wikit_clown left4dead is a zombie-shooter however ridiculously pedantic you must be about the infected/zombies present).
Resident evil is for those who like tense battles, detailed cut scenes, epic story lines and thorough characters.
Left4dead is for those who like frantic battles, insane gore and awesome online play.
So tbh the fact you two, wikit_clown moreso, got so pathetically upset about the fair point I made means that you are stubborn, ignorant and barred from society.
Im sure you’ll cuss and swear now but the two games are totally different, suiting different segments of the zombie-shooter market.

Resident Evil, literally paved the way for Survival horror, if it werent for this franchize i wonder what ideas would have come to fruition…..left 4 dead is good but i definatley agree with wikit_clown. they are more based off of the 28 days later infected….Resident evil captivates gamers by its epic story line (one of the best in gaming history) intense in game action, the graphic engines get even more beautiful everytime. very atmospheric. i am hoping they dont kill off the series after 5. we need more Evil!

lets get back to talking about Resident Evil…shall we? we all know that ollie G is a sped. so lets talk about making another RE movie…..are they even going to make another? and what are your veiws on the movies they’ve already made? i personally think they’re good, i wouldnt say great, mainly because they didnt follow the atmosphere of the games too much, only in apocalypse, and extinction we get a little bit of game reference. i feel they got bitched at and criticized by the press and fans so much they just “threw” in more game elements….if they do it again i would like to see some Leon Kennedy action. and even some Chris Redfield. tell me what you all think….

I dunno..I guess RE1 is the best of all 3 movies. I went to see it 4 or 5 times in the cinema. IT’s just perfect from the beginning to the end. The soundtrack is great, Zombies are really terrifying and it’s really interesting to watch. The second movie was pretty cool..but that’s only cuz of Nemesis. They made him look really …cute ^^ But the Extinction is really pice of crap…I dunno….for example that scene where from the big metal box run out 20 or 30 absolutely equal zombies almost killed me…I mean..lol…what were they thinkin’??? And that bitch in the end…pathetic….but it’s my opainion…some guy told me he saw some trailer or shit of the 4th movie..in Tokyo….But I think he lied

I’ve always loved the Resi series, played em all! but the new Resi’s dont have zombie’s in them which is dissapointing… i hope a new resi comes out but its largely updated from its predecessors. I.E. you can move and shoot! yes yes i know it was a staple of the old Resi diet. but its not 1995 anymore. just update the game a bit you can have all your old elements of zombies, tense music, story, characters, juet let me move and shoot and be a bit more active and i’m happy.

the new “Dead Island” looks like it could be amazing and re-inevnt survival gaming
