We love Evil clown movies. December 14, 2009 4:53 pmI have seen some quite interesting movies with clowns in, ranging from well known ones such as IT, to lesser known ones like When evil calls or Urban Massacre, all have interesting takes on the popular entertainer. I am curious which films you think have the best or worst clowns and why.
-
i hated kill joy as its too over the top and the 2nd wasnt much better
-
actualy the verry worse must be the camp blood clown …he just never tried to look like a clown he just had a mask ….an unforgetable clown apperence has to be michael myers outfit as h kills his siter …nice tit … or the ultimate klown movie is killer klowns from outer space wich has its own group
-
The Joker is probably my fave but after that I would say Pennywise.
-
the original joker was better than the remake and way back when adam west was batman the joker was eve better ….camper maybe but more eccentric and crazy but the great clown we ull must worship is harly quinn the jester …admit it she is hot and deserves a movie of her own rated 18 uk or r in states
-
Pennywise and The Joker (both Heath and Jack)
-
Ok so the Jack Nicholson joker is miles better than the Heath ledger one. I found he was quite disappointing, particularly heaths joker laugh, it just sounded like he was trying to bring up a hair ball or something.
Anyway, Pennywise is pretty cool too.
-
Pennywise by far……there are not that many good clowns and those that are are in batman…..that needs to change to horror!!!
-
the clown from drive thru was up there. and then killer klowns from outer space of course. but yes, pennywise takes the cake. and it floats.
-
I love the clowns from “Killer Clowns from Outer Space”. Seems like they’d throw a rockin’ party

And of course Pennywise would be invited to that party. -
i dont know if i would want to go to that party to be honest…..
-
might be lil’ bit offtopic since this whole thing seems to be all about movies but one of my favorite clowns is not from a film but from a game. I’m talking about Sweet Tooth from twisted metal.
I just love his muscles and stuff but yeah Pennywise is hard to win when it comes to movie-clowns.
(I also like the looks of clown zombie from Zombieland) -
Sweet Tooth should have a movie dedicated to him…..a very sick clown with his own van that can fuck up a tank!!!! good idea!!!!
-
i forgot about that clown in zombieland
and violent j and shaggy kinda count as evil clowns from a movie
i mean they werent exactly evil in big money hustlas…
but they are wicked clownz -
what does the zombieland clown have to do with your favorite???
-
well I am glad to see that there are so many clown lovers, was watchin a film called “the secret or the clown” the other day. Has a demon clown in it, goes round killin people, pretty funny stuff. Interesting lookin clown though. pretty good.
-
PENNYWISE FOR LIFE SCAREST CLOWN EVER!
-
no doubt about that!!!! if only that second part of the movie wasnt so….whats the right word…..terrible!!!
-
Sweettooth is the fuckin’ psycho…gotta love’im!
-
I gotta go with the splendidly cast Tim Curry as Pennywise the dancing clown.
He could make me float any time he’d like… -
My favourite clowns are Pennywise and Captain Spaulding
-
Captain Spaulding isnt even a real clown!!!

CHICAGO Horror Fans, UNITE!!! May 15, 2009 12:08 amDuh, this is an obvious one to join!
-
Man, I dunno…you spend all that time in LA…
Tell you what, FedEx me some In and Out Burger and we’ll call it even! -
Wait, Caustic’s from Chicago? Let’s sit down and have a chat about that infraction (that I totally deserved), bud!
-
wait wait wait danny… this is the CHICAGO group and you’re asking HIM to send YOU food? i think it’s supposed to be the other way around.
-
I’m asking for the only culinary delicacy to come out of California: In and Out Burger. I will gladly ship a delicious sampling of Chicago’s finest foods in return!
-
I don’t even remember giving you an infraction Danny, but I’m sure I enjoyed it.
Nah, I hate giving them out.
And yep, I’m from Chicago, even though I’m in Westchester now, which proudly boasts a cemetery population of two stiffs to every actual living resident.
-
I don’t live in Chicago, but Danny always told me that I’m close enough that I’m considered to be considered Chicago.
-
Fuck the Celtics, man.
-
That was one of the best series in NBA playoff history. It was good to see the Bulls back in the playoffs, but I’m glad the Celtics pulled it off.
-
Caustic: It was actually just a warning. I’ll have to start earning my next infraction!
Dribbz: I stand by my statement. Iowa might as well be a Chicago suburb. Also, there is no honor lost in losing to the Celtics with what, 6 total overtime periods?
-
Northside of Chicago..in a neighbourhood called Wicker Park.
-
I’m in Logan Square, Wooden. We should argue about which one of our hip neighborhoods is cooler! Just kidding, the winner would be “Bucktown”.
-
I have Reckless Records…what do you got Logan Square?
-
Are you fuckers all Cubs fans too? I hate Cubs fans. Mostly the ones that live in the town I live in.
-
White Sox! F the Cubs.
-
Dear Wooden Heart,
Would you like to be my new best friend? I, too, am a lonely northside Sox fan.
Together in championships, Danny!
(I have everyone that works and/or buys records from Reckless Records. You know none of the WP hipsters spend money there!)
-
Nope, no Cubs fan here. Die hard Sox fan.
I was at two playoff games during the 2005 season and had my wedding reception in the Stadium Club at Comiskey that same year.
-
Good. I’m not a baseball fan at all, so I really don’t care. There are just too many people here that love the Cubs and it’s annoying. I love it when they lose.
-
Sweet home Chicago. They’re filming the NOES remake in my town right now.
-
Anyone wanna go see The Yolks this weekend? KillRobot, I’m looking at you…
-
Just joined today
Been looking for a Chicago based group for the longest time. Thanx BD! -
Danny!, where and when? Also, basketball Sunday? Everyone should have work off Monday so maybe we can have the TKO BBQ BBALL JAM 2K9
-
KillRobot: This Saturday at Ronny’s (2101 N. California, Chicago, IL 60647). 10pm. Probably $6. For more info, head to [Read more]

I joined this group before I knew it was a bunch of Sox fans…

I’m not a sox fan so you arent alone Three. You in Chicago? If so let me know so I can get you some free tickets to the premiere of Amoral Uprising in July. The whole team will be there and it’s going to be a blast so get back to me when you can.
-
I’m in Rkfd
-
Malicious, is Amoral the production that started the Parents that Suck Debate?
If so, it has added appeal.
-
I guess this is where all the cool kids hang out. I’m in the same company as Threeonameathook. Rockford Icehogs all the way.:)
-
Nah, that guy was from something we were trying to do towards the full feature thank god. AU is a prologue we made to help raise funds for the bigger movie while also having a product we can promote and give to the fans while we raise the big money. But the guy we replaced the douchebag with is friggin brilliant on camera so we’re confident that…[Read more]

Glad there’s a group specifically for Chicagoans. Just joined recently. Oh, and I’m a Cubs fan so please don’t kill me.

I am very glad to see there are so many horror movie fans from Chicago!!!! I love that city and I love it even more… but I am indifferent when it comes to sports.

Whoever posted that Chris Farley picture, THANKS!

West Logan Square = Humbold Park, or some other neighborhood. That Motel Bar situation seemed like it would’ve been fun. I didn’t have enough disposable income and none of my friends were working there that night, though.
-
I live about a half hour from Notre Dame University and a little over two and a half hours, give or take, from Chicago (a little town called Goshen, Indiana where Steve Buscemi filmed the Liv Tyler & Casey Affleck vehicle ‘Lonesome Jim’). It’s funny how the part of Northern Indiana where I hang my hat is actually closer to Chicago (and also…[Read more]

Humboldt is actually changing. New homes are being built around there. I understand how people can be cautious about going there. The gangs aren’t all gone from the area. Also kreepy, good name by the way, do they show horror flicks often at this bar? If they did, that would be cool. Based on the hype you’re giving it, I would still check it out though.
-
So I just bought a condo in Logan Square. Looks like I’ll be holding up in Chicago…forever. Who wants to come to the housewarming? Presents required.
-
Who’s going to ComicCon / Wizard World this weekend?
-
Who’s going to see Psycho in the park tonight?

At midnight on Sept 24th, Music Box Theatre is having a free showing of Paranormal Activity. For more info, check out the Music Box website: To get in, you’ll have to RSVP online:

This is my second fave sci-fi/horror film. Awesome suspense, atmosphere and paranoia.
Best alien creature ever. So gruesome, gory and horrific. I love “the thing”.
And as for video games, Dead Space is a direct take-off of this movie with it’s twisted morphing alien creatures. Dead Space is a fantastic game.
In my Top Ten Sci-Fi/Horror flicks EVER. Cable has had this in rotation for the last month and I have seen it 3 times in the last week.
I’ve heard rumors of a prequel, which is supposeded to be the story of what happened at the Norwegian Camp.
ah yes this alien movie is also on the top of my list to. To me this is one of the best alien movies ever made, instead of the the 1979 Alien and Aliens. These three movies are my favorites.
When I first watched this many years ago, I though wtf when I saw the weird spider crawling decapitated head! LAWL! :weird: Great movie though.
x
it’s actually a re-make of howard hawkes THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD.of course being made in the 50′s carpenter gave it a total facelift & he didn’t disappoint.the best alien sci-fi horror of the 80′s !!
You are very right there. I only saw the movie once.I was scary for the time it was made in,but now the movie isn’t that scary.:)
Interesting story, unique special effects (= FX teams nowadays should make notes of how it
yea, that true about the effects, without CGI),One of the most scariest movies that i’ve ever seen in my life, and to me one of the best:!
The best is when the “Thing” drips onto the ground grows legs and runs away. Gold! Every FX artist dreams of doing this!
oh yeah that is a Bad A## effect. One of my fave parts is when it takes over the dogs, and the other is when the final confrontation of the thing happens!:chainsaw:
A remake is coming out in 2011.
It’s no remake,it’s a prequel.
The Thing and The Thing From Another World are both great!
