I would want to stick with Rob Zombie, but I guess they are on the fence about that?!! I loved the two installments he did already and it would be a “crying shame” if Zombie jumps ship on his the masterpieces he created, thus far. :)

I see your point, but theres just something about 3D that Rob really doesn’t like, I don’t know, its not his style you know. Cause I saw an interview where he said “absolutely not” to a Halloween 3, but thats what he said last time so, who knows.

Then he should direct it in non-3D, because I do not like 3D anything really. It gives me a head ache. I just do not want his vision to get lost or revamped by some one else. That always happens when people take over directing movies for new installments.

I think that they should’ve kept Patrick Lussier, he would’ve done an amazing job. Well, maybe they can get him back. besides him i would say either get Scott Glosserman (Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon) or Nelson McCormick (The Stepfather remake). I think either of them would do an excellent job.

I own both films, and I like the remake better. I cant stand the original really. The remake remains one of the better horror remakes as of late and is still one of my personal favorite films I have seen this year.

This is one remake I actually enjoyed. I can’t say it’s better than the original, but it was well done.

The original just had this…dirty feel to it. The folk music playing, while all this horrible stuff is going on just made it creepy as hell. It’s one of those ” I need to take a shower” after watching it flicks.

The remake is better from a technical standpoint but the original has a crude,sleazy feel to it!:eck:

I gotta say I did find these films very fun.

I’ve joined this group more so because I really enjoyed the second film. If the third is going to follow in a similar vain, and maybe even top the earlier entry, then I’ll be happy as pig in shit! ‘Wrong Turn 2′ fucking rocked, and I’m hoping ‘Wrong Turn 3′ will rock even harder! But I have to be honest, I absolutely hated the first film.

Well!, just watched wrong turn 3 earlier,and while it was an ok, and fun film to watch it had Nothing! on 1 Or 2….

This is one of my favorite vamp films, the cast, the story everything about it. And it gave me my obsession with vampires from a young age. I don’t think it gets the credit it deserves. Thought the sequel sucked!!

One of my all time fav movies had it on vhs then got it on dvd, fav scene has to be when sammi comes out of the speakers for the first time, and says the line you should be loyal to your heros, one of many great scenes in fact the whole movie is fantastic.

Agreed. ‘Hostel: Part II’ is Eli Roth’s most accomplished film so far. I’m looking forward to ‘Thanksgiving’.

The first Hostel’s my favorite of the bunch but they all have their own qualities that make them great. I do agree with the consensus that Hostel: Part II is his most mature film to date and does show that he’s growing as a film maker and Cabin Fever is a very fun Evil Dead style gore fest.

‘Cabin Fever’ was a competent debut and very entertaining. ‘Hostel’ was an even better follow up, with ‘Hostel: Part II’ being Eli Roth’s best work so far. Cabin Fever .

Hostel II for sure. I was on the edge of my seat. It was super bloody and sadistic. I loved the scene where Heather Matarazzo was hanging by her feet naked and was sliced up and bled to death while another woman bathed in her blood!

My favorite Eli Roth movie is definitely ‘HOSTEL Part II’ – as a girl I can say there is nothing misogynistic about this movie (as many critics have said)! Eli Roth has created one of the best final girls ever seen on screen! Just awesome! And Cabin Fever is a great homage to ‘night of the living dead’ and ‘Evil Dead’, silent and creepy like the virus!
