‘Ouija: Origin of Evil’ Posters Talk to the Other Side

Mike Flanagan, who has already impressed the hell out of me with his underrated Oculus as well as the frightening Netflix movie Hush, is behind Ouija: Origin of Evil, which takes the franchise is a completely different direction.

The sequel takes place in 1965 Los Angeles where a widowed mother and her two daughters add a new stunt to bolster their séance scam business and unwittingly invite authentic evil into their home. The youngest daughter is overtaken by the merciless spirit, forcing this small family to confront unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side.

Ouija opens on October 21, 2016.

    These are pretty lame.

  • Grandpa Fred

Is anybody tired of the female child or woman levitating and bent backwards a bit imagery yet? It’s not scary.

    • Creepshow

I shit my pants all the time. And about the imagery…I agree it’s tiresome and not scary.

      • Grandpa Fred

Get a colostomy bag, bro! No more sitting on the toilet, and you can go whenever and wherever you please.

      So lazy

    • LoveAnimation

People used to find it really scary in the past and it has been a classic thing in horror for a long time now so thats why they still use it even if people today dont find it as terrifying as people used to in the old days.
Peole were WAY easier to scare in the old days and pleny of stuff that used to be terrifying is not considered scary by many people anymore.

      • Lirabelle

That, and different people just find different things scary.

        • LoveAnimation

Yea theres probably plenty of people in the World that still find things like that scary and if its done in a good way i myself can think its reallt scary and creepy often.

So is it a different guy making this movie than the first movie?

    • Khy

Yeah. Stiles White directed the original. Mike Flanagan (Hush, Absentia) wrote and directed this one with his pal Jeff Howard.

  • Simon Allen

This looks like NOTHING we haven’t seen before !!!!
I really had high hopes for the Director but this looks like a steaming dog turd of a movie .

    • Khy

I tried to give Flanagan the benefit of the doubt but this does look just as mediocre as the first.

  • Saywhut?

  • Mr. Dry

I’m gonna pretend this movie is not a Mike Flanagan’s one.

  • That is so unbelievably shitty it’s unreal. Just like the entirety of Ouija, so pretty decent posters then
