Here’s the Trailer For ‘Phantasm: Ravager’!

Phantasm: Ravager

You’ve been waiting for it and now it’s arrived! The trailer for Phantasm: Ravager has arrived and it showcases some pretty out there imagery! From dozens of Tall Men to post-apocalyptic sphere-induced destruction, this trailer certainly brings a lot of visual insanity to the screen!

Phantasm: Ravager is an all-new film that brings one of cinema’s longest-running franchises without a reboot to a close, with Mike (A. Michael Baldwin) and Reggie (Reggie Banister) teaming up to confront the dimension-hopping Tall Man (Angus Scrimm, in his final role) once and for all. It will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest.

I’ve been waiting for this? No, I’m only interested in good things. Like ice cream and clouds that look like boobs.

    • Saturn

What about ice cream that looks like boobs?

  • Travis_Bickle

This looks like a SyFy original. The CG is so bad and that giant ball shooting down buildings is just retarded.

    • Saturn

Did you really think it was going to get a budget that compares to The Force Awakens?

      • Travis_Bickle

Force Awaken sucked even with it’s huge budget. You don’t need Oprah money to make a great horror flick. The first two Saw films were made on 5 million dollars between the both movies, yet grossed over 150 million.

        • I can guarantee you that the budget for this was nowhere near 5 million or even 1 mil for that matter. They shot this over a couple years using their free time on the weekends. It does look low budget, but I’m sure there’s far more heart and passion behind it than any cash grab Saw sequel. I can forgive the budgetary limitations if Ravager can deliver on story and thrills. We’ll see.

What’s up with all the up-votes for yourself?

      • Travis_Bickle

Cuz my posts are fucking AWESOME!

Why do they try to imitate higher-budgeted movies? It would have been way more effective to have a small-scaled intimate horror movie. This looks like a fanfilm or something.

    • marklola12 .

yep looks total crap and using stock footage of a building being brought down then adding a vile looking cgi sphere making it look like that blew the building up haha

  • RKSDooM

This looks like so much fun! And I think the effects and cinematography look really impressive for a PHANTASM film.

  • LivingDeadMan

We’re finally getting another Phantasm movie. I’m happy about that.

    • James Allard

And I am stoked! Hopefully, it will be the last, wouldn’t be the same without the Tall Man. I hope also that it is a nice send off to Mr. Scrimm.

  • Matt

    Looks good to me, BOYYYYYY!

  • Brian Odom

Wait…. I didn’t know Reggie was still alive. Now I’m gonna have to go back and re-watch the 4th movie. Well I saw part 2 last week again….. but I’m gonna wanna re-watch all 4 now to get ready for this. It’s about time they finally put this one out!

  • Looks hilarious! Can’t wait!

The trailer looked stupid. I liked the trailer few years back. What happened to Phantasm theme song? The scary sound.

  • M. Knepper

Where’s the Phantasm theme song? Where’s the definition of the word phantasm at the beginining of the trailer like in all of the others? Where’s the “for “x” amount of years, the secret of…” etc description in the beginning like all the others.

  • M. Knepper

Alright Don/David. THIS is how you do a Phantasm trailer:

Watch that. Everyone. THAT is a Phantasm trailer.

  • M. Knepper

Oh, here, another example of how to do a Phantasm trailer.

Do you see that? The introduction about the definition of Phantasm? The narrator? The description about the “innocent people” attempting to uncover the secrets? The tagline at the end? The glowing metal Phantasm logo? That, THAT is how you do a trailer.

    • marklola12 .

      shame that movie sucked

  • marklola12 .

yep that looks pretty horrid lol, looks like some fan movie off youtube.,..just with way worse cgi

  • ShadowInc

I love PHANTASM films, even when they go heavy on the cheese. And I’ll savor this morsel, good, or bad, because it’s the last time we’ll see Angus Scrim (R.I.P.).

    • Matt

He was a true giant, both figuratively and literally. He is definitely missed.

  • Werewolf

Looks like everybody is just as they ought to be character wise.
It will be a fitting tribute to the memory of Mr.Scrimm.

The man was my favorite horror villain EVER.

  • Indigo500

    Yes, finally!!

  • aNYagenda

    Fingers crossed.

Although even the lesser Phantasms have their own honest gonzo charm.
I’m sure I’ll be pleased just for the original cast and Coscarelli being involved.

    RIP. Angus Scrimm
