Blumhouse Production’s Half to Death has added three new castmembers in the form of Ruby Modine, Charles Aitken, and Rachel Matthew, according to Variety. They join Jessica Rothe and Israel Broussard in the film that sounds like a horror version of Groundhog Day.
‘Half to Death’ follows a girl who must relive the same day over and over again until she figures out who is trying to kill her and why.
Christopher Landon is directing from a script he co-penned with Scott Lobdell. Landon, who penned Dusturbia and several Paranormal Activity sequels, also directed Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones and Paramount’s Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.
According to Film New Orleans, the movie began production yesterday.
