Watch 10 Minutes of ‘Don’t Breathe’: Now on Digital
The home invasion thriller/horror Don’t Breathe has come out on digital platforms today and if you still haven’t seen it or if you’re unconvinced on whether it’s worth it or not, Sony has uploaded a 10-minute clip that shows the three main characters, Rocky, Money, and Alex, breaking into the blind man’s house and trying to figure out where he’s hiding his hoard of cash. Starring Jane Levy (Evil Dead), Dylan Minnette (Goosebumps), Daniel Zovatto (It Follows) and Stephen Lang (Avatar), the film follows a group of thieves who break into a blind man’s home thinking they’ll get away with the perfect crime. When the blind man reveals a dark side, the trio quickly discovers they were dead wrong.

The Blu-ray, DVD and digital releases come loaded with bonus content that takes viewers behind-the-scenes of the filmmaking experience alongside the cast and crew. Director Fede Alvarez takes fans through five featurettes, including “No Escape,” “Creating the Creepy House,” “Meet the Cast,” “Man in the Dark” and “The Sounds of Horror.” In addition, the releases include eight deleted scenes with optional Director’s Commentary and full feature commentary with director Fede Alvarez, co-writer Rodo Sayagues and actor Stephen Lang.
Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
