‘Harvest’ in the Vein of ‘Cloverfield’ and ‘Aliens’

Using all the buzz words they can find, LeVision Entertainment, who is behind The Great Wall, Legendary’s Matt Damon-starring China-set monster movie, is developing the alien-abduction movie Harvest after pre-emptively acquiring worldwide rights to Peter Gaffney’s script, Variety reports.

LeVision said the spec is in the vein of 2008’s Cloverfield and Ridley Scott’s 1986 sequel Aliens.

Adam Rodin is attached to the project as a producer.

Gaffney’s latest project Terrestrial is set up at Lionsgate, with Tripp Vinson and Rodin signed on as producers.

LeVision Entertainment is led by founder Adam Goodman, former President of the Paramount Pictures’ Motion Pictures Group and President of Production at DreamWorks.
