Broad Green Pictures will release their thriller Wish Upon on June 30, 2017.
The Conjuring‘s Joey King, pictured, stars alongside “The Walking Dead’s” Sydney Park, Shannon Purser, Ryan Phillippe (Shooter, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions) and Elisabeth Rohm (“Joy”, “American Hustle”).
King, who starred in The Conjuring, plays a 16-year-old misfit who finds a magic box that promises a chance at the life she’s always wanted — only to discover that each wish demands a deadly payment.
The film, directed by Annabelle‘s John Leonetti from a script written by Barbara Marshall, is being produced by Sherryl Clark of Busted Shark Productions. Mister Smith Entertainment is selling Wish Upon, which was in pre-production ahead of the American Film Market.
Assuming The Weinstein Company doesn’t shift the film yet again, Wish Upon will open against Amityville: The Awakening.
