This ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ Trailer is a Spoiler Bomb

FEBRUARY, THE BLACKCOATS DAUGHTER via A24

I’m so excited that you guys finally get to see Osgood Perkins’ The Blackcoat’s Daughter (read my review), which I saw way back in September of 2015 (under the title of February) at its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. I recently told you that this satanic thriller will first arrive February 16th exclusively on DirecTV before hitting limited theaters on March 31st.

Emma Roberts (“American Horror Story”, “Scream Queens”) and Kiernan Shipka (“Mad Men,” Carriers) star as two terrified girls who must battle a mysterious evil force when they get left behind at their boarding school over winter break.

A new trailer of sorts has appeared online, and looks like something of an international or sales teaser boasting all sorts of spoilers. I think there’s a plethora of surprises in the film and the following trailer derails a lot of them; I’d avoid watching at all costs. Unless of course Satan makes you do it…
