I DON'T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD ANYMORE

Netflix just dropped two hilarious clips from I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore read our review(), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival before arriving on the streaming service tomorrow, February 24th.

I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore is the story of Ruth (Melanie Lynskey), a nursing assistant suffering through a crisis of existential despair. But when her house is burglarized, Ruth discovers a renewed sense of purpose in tracking down the thieves. Accompanied by her obnoxious martial-arts-enthusiast neighbor Tony (Elijah Wood), they soon find themselves dangerously out of their depth against a pack of degenerate criminals.

The first clip shows Ruth throwing a piece of dog shit at Tony after he allows his dog to relieve himself on her lawn. The second, at the bottom of this article, tosses around the age-old joke, “deez nuts.”

Written and directed by Macon Blair, who appears in both Jeremy Saulnier’s Blue Ruin and Green Room, the film has a distinctive look courtesy of cinematographer Larkin Seiple (Swiss Army Man, Cop Car), and also stars David Yow, Jane Levy, Devon Graye, Christine Woods, Robert Longstreet, Lee Eddy and Gary Anthony Williams.

We reviewed the film out of Sundance, calling it a “chaotic thriller classic.”
