Javier Botet (Mama, Crimson Peak) is primarily known for playing some of the most terrifying creatures in recent years, but he’s tackling a very different role in Dominic Bridges’ Two Pigeons. The dark comedy ponders a disturbing question: What happens when someone starts sharing your space, your clothes, your food, even your toothbrush… all unbeknownst to you?
The UK film is part of this year’s Midnighters section at SXSW, and it’s having its World Premiere Friday night, March 10th. Ahead of the premiere, we’ve got a little sneak peek for ya.
In the sinister dark comedy…
Hussein (Mim Shaikh), a wide-boy London Real estate agent, has a hidden houseguest (Javier Botet) who is secretly dismantling his world – from the inside – getting more malicious by the day..If the thought of someone else using your toothbrush makes you sick, this might be a tough film to watch.
Mandeep Dhillon, Kola Bokinni, and Michael McKella also star.
Rae Brunton wrote the script.
