John Krasinski and Emily Blunt Enter ‘A Quiet Place’

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, who are a real-life couple, will co-star in their first film together, Variety reports.

Krasinksi, who starred in Michael Bay’s 13 Hours,  will write and helm the Paramount/Platinum Dunes supernatural thriller A Quiet Place, marking his first directorial effort for a major studio, and also star in the movie opposite his wife Blunt (pictured in Edge of Tomorrow).

Michael Bay will produce along with his partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes. Scott Beck and Bryan Woods wrote the earlier draft. Krasinski and his Sunday Night partner Allyson Seeger will serve as executive producers alongside Beck and Woods.

The film, which will go into production this fall. Plot details are unknown.

    I’m not a big fan of “The Office” so I’m fairly indifferent to Krasinski, but I think Blunt has made some really great movies; if you haven’t seen them, “Edge Of Tomorrow” and “Sicario” are both excellent.
