New ‘Alien: Covenant’ Posters Scream in Terror

A pair of new Alien: Covenant one-sheets have appeared online, but screaming in terror, while a third is a close up of the Xenomorph from the shot in the film’s trailers. We’re only a few weeks away from release, but Bloody Disgusting will have a review for you tomorrow night. Check back to see what Jimmy thought of Ridley Scott’s lately foray into the Alien universe.

Michael Fassbender returns as Prometheus‘ android David (and Walter), with a crew that includes Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Alex England (Gods of Egypt), Billy Crudup, Amy Seimetz (A Horrible Way to Die, “The Killing”), Jussie Smollett (“Empire”), Carmen Ejogo, Callie Hernandez (Machete Kills) and James Franco.

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition

Alien: Covenant takes off for Paradise on May 19, 2017.

People can say all the negative things they want about this massive press campaign layed out before Covenant’s release. I can honestly say nothing has me salivating more then that Xenomorph on top of the ship (shown in the trailer and poster), then this film. I’m so ready for the release of this film. These posters look absolutely amazing!

i freaking LOVE that visual (in the above poster and in the actual footage/film) of the Xeno on top of the ship! one of the most awesome, intense visuals in any of the ALIEN films IMO. 🙂

      • Wil McMullen

I agree… I love the fact that the X-morph is shown in the daylight.

  • J Jett

i actually kind of like these posters! 🙂

  • I can’t wait to see this film!

I’m a giant Alien fan, ever since I saw it in 79 aged 15, it did for me what Star Wars did for others,I Love Gigers first version of the Xenomorph best,it just seemed more…well, alien. I’m not sure about this guy on the last poster though…..

Im looking forward to reading this review today

      I cant wait
      It should be a hoot
Not just BD’s, but as the reviews roll out in general

You can pretty much see where its going
People who are “into things” seem into it

The new york comicbook feminism crowd think its the best thing since fury road Others who aren’t into stuff like that seem less impressed

I just want to hear how bad they mangled the story
Between more of ridley scotts brights ideas translated by michael green its got to be prometheus levels of “interesting”

      • Wil McMullen

I just had read the script for ‘Alien: Engineers’. I’m guessing this was the original treatment to Prometheus, that for whatever inconceivable reasons they did not go with and i have to tell you- i was amazed and shocked at how awesome that script is. I can not for the life of me understand why this wasnt the movie produced. Dont get me wrong, i loved the final screened product that was Prometheus, but i can honestly say i would hsve loved that script version ten folds more. There would be no way on earth (or LV 426) that people could have accused this version of not being a true Alien movie. This makes me certain that Covenant is going to give the fans what they want. Im thinking Ridley and company heard the complaints from most and realized how much of a missed oppurtunity it was for them to not stick with the original treatment for Prometheus.

What I thought was even more impressive then Speights script or the mess that lindelof made, was a fan made fake script that was spoofed around as an early version called “Alien Harvest”

I thought that whoever wrote that did a more interesting job then speights or lindelof

But whats kind of interesting is that it involved harvesting wheats and hom0sexuality stuff, this shnook michael green might have just stole that among other things

    “Paradise begins in hell”

These nitwits are trying way too hard to be all religious goth

    lindelof levels of corny melodrama

    • llcc1103

lindelof is a brilliant writer dude. Leftovers Season two and three so far is some of the best television in a long time.

      • aFriendlyAgenda

I’ve heard critical raves about it
Maybe its just not down my alley

  • Wil McMullen

    Maybe 2 1/2 (i hope).

  • Hmmmm…. not so keen on these. Can’t wait for the movie though.

  • Wil McMullen
