Check Out Some Behind the Scenes Shots from ‘The Nun’

After this summer’s Annabelle: Creation, the Conjuring Universe expands even further with sequel spinoff The Nun, now shooting in Romania with Corin Hardy in the director’s chair. It’ll be a little while before we have a trailer or anything else to share, but Hardy has been posting some behind the scenes shots over on Instagram.

Head to the set below and read on for more info!

In The Nun

The story centers on a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania taking her own life, with a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret and confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun from “The Conjuring 2.”

Taissa Farmiga, Demian Bichir, Bonnie Aarons, Charlotte Hope, Jonas Bloquet and Ingrid Bisu star.

Gary Dauberman wrote with James Wan. Wan and Peter Safran are producing.

The Nun arrives on July 13, 2018.

Maybe I’m missing something but wasn’t the Nun in TC2 just a form the demon took?

    • Hayden Koutras

Yeah, it was. definitely a huge plot hole i hope they come up with a decent explanation to. :/

    • DarkBree

The spin-offs are full of plot holes.

Yeah, but the form from the demon had have come from somewhere. Usually in movies and TV shows (If you Google it) a form of a demon comes from somewhere where the demon originally was summoned or born (I don’t know the correct wording, sorry). In the Conjuring 2, it isn’t explained or shown where the Nun came from, it only shows the character. Other questions I want to know, are how was the demon nun tied to Bill? Why was the demon nun terrorizing Lorraine? Where did the demon Nun come from? How did he demon get it’s form? Maybe the movie will answer these questions and yours, wasn’t the nun a form of the demon??

Also why would they make a movie, if it was just a form the demon took??

  • I will watch The Nun in theater even if will have less than 10% on Rotten Tomatoes! I loved that character in The Conjuring 2.

Your penance is five “Our Father’s” and ten “Holy Mary’s” for speaking the truth.

Corin Hardy’s The Hallow was a fun and surprisingly intense little horror movie. I’m really hoping The Nun will be good.
