‘Wish Upon’ Clip Locks Up the Music Box After Wasting Wishes

In theaters July 14, 2017, The Conjuring‘s Joey King plays a 16-year-old misfit who finds a magic box that promises a chance at the life she’s always wanted — only to discover that each wish demands a deadly payment. In this new clip from Wish Upon, King locks up the box and argues with her friends after “wasting” several wishes. Watch for our reviews tomorrow.

Sydney Park (“The Walking Dead”), Shannon Purser (“Stranger Things”), Ryan Phillippe (Shooter, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions) and Elisabeth Rohm (“Joy”, “American Hustle”) also star.

In the latest horror thriller from the director of ANNABELLE, 17-year-old CLARE SHANNON (Joey King) is barely surviving the hell that is high school, along with her friends MEREDITH (Sydney Park) and JUNE (Shannon Purser). So when her dad (Ryan Phillippe) gifts her an old music box with an inscription that promises to grant the owner’s wishes, she thinks there is nothing to lose. Clare makes her first wish and, to her surprise, it comes true. Before long, she finally has it all: money, popularity and her dream boy. Everything seems perfect – until the people closest to her begin dying in gruesome and twisted ways. Now, with blood on her hands, Clare has to get rid of the box, before it costs her and everyone she loves the ultimate price.

Be careful what you wish for…

Hmmmm……..I wish for this to be rated R! Along with that I know that Horror films that receive an R rating aren’t all winners, and the R doesn’t guarantee a solid film, but it’s a punchers chance more than watered down PG-13 bullshit! And yes I know there have been decent PG-13 films here and there. But come on let’s be real here! IMO
