After quietly premiering on Spike TV last month, the James Wan-produced haunter Demonic has quietly been added to Netflix’s streaming service. For those who want to own it, it will arrive on DVD, Digital HD and On Demand October 10th via Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

Demonic, directed by Will Canon and penned by Max La Bella, was already released internationally way back in 2015. It stars both The Purge‘s Frank Grillo alongside Maria Bello.

Filmed way back in 2013, “The film centers on the aftermath of a horrific massacre where five college students were brutally murdered inside an abandoned home. Detective Mark Lewis (Frank Grillo) and psychologist Dr. Elizabeth Klein (Maria Bello) question one of the few survivors who explains they were amateur ghost-hunters, seeking out paranormal phenomenon at the abandoned house, which was believed to be haunted. But what started out as a harmless activity turned into something truly terrifying.“

Luiz reviewed the film a few years back, calling it “muddled and clumsy.”
