[Trailer] Dolph Lundgren Slays Zombies in Video Game Adaptation ‘Dead Trigger’

Madfinger Games’ zombie-themed first person survival horror video game Dead Trigger has racked up over 30 million downloads worldwide since its release in June 2012, spawning sequel Dead Trigger 2 just one year later.

Now, the game becomes a movie.

Dolph Lundgren stars as Kyle Walker in Mike Cuff and Scott Windhauser’s adaptation.

“Unable to stop the virus, the government develops a video game, “Dead Trigger,” that mirrors the terrifying events that cursed the world. The players who kill the most zombies in the game are recruited to combat the zombie horde in real life.

Led by Captain Kyle Walker (Dolph Lundgren), the elite team travels to Terminal City, the origin of the outbreak, to find a team of scientists who have been working on a possible cure for the virus.  The only way to get to them, however, is through a city full of terrifying undead mutants.”

Autumn Reeser, Isaiah Washington and Justin Chon also star.

Lundgren deserves the love! Wait a minute… How come it’s not a Uwe Boll movie? Now I don’t know…

  • An adaptation of a smartphone’s game starred by a really bad and overrated actor? I’ll pass.

Overrated? Lundgren? On what planet is Dolph an overrayed actor?

  • Christopher Nickerson

Movie looks bad, but I will watch it for Lundgren

Looks super bad, but may just be so bad it turns out to be a fun ride.

I keep reading that Lundgren is super smart and misunderstood as an actor. I can never believe these claimswhen he does crap like this and Kindergarten Cop 2.
