Every fan has a story. Why not tell yours?
We told you about FredHeads earlier this year, a documentary from Venn Pictures that’s now in production. Rather than focusing on the films themselves, or the people in front of and behind the camera who made them reality – we’ve already got Never Sleep Again for that, after all – FredHeads is all about US, the fans of the franchise.
It’s a doc about the heart and soul of horror, and what Freddy means to the fans.
“The documentary will follow 3 fans as they tell their story and what their journey in the Nightmare community has been; some as fans, others rising through popularity. Along the way, we will be filming at conventions and getting as many fan stories as possible to feature as many fans as we can in the documentary.”
Now until January 2018, the makers of FredHeads want YOU to be part of the documentary, asking any and all interested fans to film 5-10 videos telling their own stories about their Elm Street fandom. A submission does not guarantee your video will be used in the doc, but many of those fan videos will indeed be featured.
