Guillermo del Toro Produces ‘Antlers’, About a Teacher Who Must Save Her Student From “Something Terrifying”

Fox Searchlight has acquired the supernatural horror script Antlers, written by Henry Chaisson and “Channel Zero” creator Nick Antosca, says this tracking board.

Antlers follows a fourth-grade teacher who tries to help a troubled boy in her class, only to discover that he’s been hiding a nightmarish secret. Now something terrifying is coming for the boy, and she has to protect him.

Guillermo del Toro, whose new film The Shape of Water was released by Fox Searchlight this past weekend, is producing with David S. Goyer and Kevin Turen under their Phantom Four banner.

Antosca, who appeared on the 2016 Young and Hungry List, previously worked with Goyer on The Forest, adds the site. Antosca also developed Friday the 13th for Platinum Dunes before it was shut down.
