‘Kill List’ Director Ben Wheatley Looks to Be Filming Secret New Project

Since making a splash with the horror film Kill List back in 2011, British filmmaker Ben Wheatley‘s career has taken off, subsequently directing Sightseers, A Field in England, High-Rise and most recently, Free Fire. Last we heard, Wheatley’s next was the Alicia Vikander-starring Freak Shift, but he appears to currently be shooting something else.

Over on Instagram, Wheatley shared a clapboard for a project titled Colin You Anus this week, being produced by Wheatley’s Rook Films. The board lists Laurie Rose as the project’s director of photography; Rose has been the D.P. on all of Wheatley’s films.

In a subsequent Instagram post, Wheatley noted that it’s an 11-day shoot.

More as we learn it.

Hope it’s better than the horrible High Rise ….what a pile of pretentious crap .

I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s another experimental effort like A Field in England, filmed on the cheap just because he can…
