Here’s What Happens When a Bot is Asked to Write Its Own ‘SAW’ Movie

Published

We’d pay so much to see Saw 9: Sawitdaba Da Bang Da Bang Diggy Diggy Diggy.

We realize this is very likely a joke that was actually written by a flesh and blood human, but let’s humor ourselves for a second here. Writer Keaton Patti (@KeatonPatti), who has experience writing for Comedy Central, Funny or Die and The Onion, recently took to Twitter with an attention-grabbing tweet that has gone viral these last few days.

I forced a bot to watch over 1,000 hours of the Saw movies and then asked it to write a Saw movie of its own,” Keaton tweeted. “Here is the first page.”

In the first page of the (allegedly) bot-written script, “Becky Sexwoman” wakes up to discover that she’s been buried alive… inside of a whale. The key that’ll free her from the whale, true to the actual Saw films, is nestled inside the woman’s own body.

Enjoy.
