Eli Roth-Starring Disaster/Horror Film ‘Aftershock’ Just Added to Netflix

Published

on

Before The Green Inferno was *finally* released into theaters, Eli Roth made his return with Aftershock, a Chilean horror film that he co-wrote, presented and starred in.

Written by Roth, Guillermo Amoedo and Nicolas Lopez, and directed by Lopez, Aftershock tells the horrifying tale of a group of young friends who are out partying in Chile when a massive earthquake hits and thrusts them into a fight for survival against not just mother nature, but also something more terrifying: human nature.

Turns out the earthquake destroyed the local prison, unleashing some of the baddest men in Chile onto the city streets; free to rape, pillage and plunder, at their leisure.

Intense, brutal and full of anxiety, Aftershock is a nasty little disaster/horror hybrid that’s worth a watch, and we’re happy to report that it just arrived on Netflix today.

Check it out and let us know what you think!
