The duo of Terrance Zdunich (Repo! The Genetic Opera) and Saar Hendelman (The Devil’s Carnival), known as American Murder Song, are gearing up for their third EP, which they’ve dubbed III. The Reckoning. Today, we found out that the EP will feature Cradle of Filth keyboardist/back vocalist Lindsay Schoolcraft (pictured below), who will be narrating the track “June”.
On III. The Reckoning, American Murder Song plans to explore the desperate crimes of those devastated by “The Year Without A Summer”. The track “June” follows Schoolcraft as “the narrator” who, “…bemoans the fate of her family farm, a property that she inherited by way of bloodshed, that is now useless due to the agricultural ruin brought on by “The Year Without A Summer”.”
