A Perfect Circle Release “The Doomed” Music Video

A Perfect Circle have released the video for their brand new song, “The Doomed”. The video, which was directed by Jeremy Danger and Travis Shinn, arrives as the band is in the final two weeks of their North American tour.

“Fourteen years have passed since we released eMOTIVe,” Maynard James Keenan recently stated on the forthcoming new album, arriving in 2018. “A new release is long overdue. In light of this current difficult and polarized social, spiritual and political climate, we artist types need to open our big mouths and share the light a little louder.”

“Years of life experience has brought our music to this moment,” added Billy Howerdel. “We know where we came from. Deeply connected to the path we’re on.”

A Perfect Circle recently announced they had signed a worldwide recording deal with BMG and are in the studio working with producer Dave Sardy on the follow-up to 2004’s eMOTIVe.

Speaking of the social, spiritual, and political climate; one band I TRULY wish that would put out a new album is ‘Rage Against The Machine’! Man their first 3 albums were phenomenal and they were ahead of their time……..if you will. Well now is definitely the time for them to come back and re-assert themselves as kings of what I like to call ‘political rock/metal’! According to the bassist Tim Commerford they’re technically still a band and a new album isn’t out of the question.

As far as ‘A Perfect Circle’ they’re ok and I think the real question is when is ‘Tool’s’ new album coming? Maynard says this album for this band is long overdue, HA! Well Maynard so is a ‘Tool’ album.
