KFC Has Had Enough.. and So Have We!
Everyone who knows Mr D, knows I’m a huge Asian movie buff, so when my favorite Asian movie news site, KFC Cinema (Kung Fu Cult Cinema) wrote an open letter to Miramax telling them what they are doing is crap, I’m with them 100% What the hell is going on with Miramax and the Asian cinema properties they own? Remember hearing about the movie Shaolin Soccer, or maybe you even remember seeing the trailer in theaters this past July? Where the hell is it? It’s not on DVD, nor is it in theaters, and let me tell you, it’s one kick ass flick! Here’s the worst of it, people like me, who buy the movies overseas, or from sites like HKFlix.com, could lose our connections. The studio is issuing cease and desist orders to online Asian fansites who link to places where original versions of their acquisitions (like Zhang Yimou’s unbelievable Hero) can be purchased.
