‘The Orphanage’ Filmmakers Chat With B-D!

Forget all of that holiday cheer, we’re horror fans, which is why this Christmas is so kickass. This holiday season is jammed with horror-themed releases all the way until the New Year and beyond. One film that’s getting lost in the shuffle is probably the one that deserves the most praise, since it was produced by Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth). Picturehouse is set to release The Orphanage (review) on December 28, which will close the year on one hell of a high note. Today we added a very special exclusive interview with writer and director, Sergio Sanchez and Juan Antonio Bayonaover, over at BDTV. In the film Laura returns to the house where she was raised, and decides to transform it into an orphanage. Soon, her son, Simón, makes an invisible friend…
