Not horror per se, but Y: The Last Man is still a comic series set in a post-apocalyptic world. During an interview with USA Today, director DJ Caruso took some time off filming his next feature to chat a bit about his forthcoming adaptation to the comic series, which was scripted by Brian K. Vaughan. While the original plan was to squeeze the entire series into one movie, Caruso tells USA Today that the film will cover the first 14 issues of the comics, adding that this opens the door for a trilogy. Now that’s what I’m talking about! Published by Vertigo, the books are about the sole surviving male human after the spontaneous, simultaneous death of every male mammal on Earth.
