TV: Skarsgard Joins HBO’s Vampire Tale ‘True Blood’
Alexander Skarsgard (The Burrowers) has joined the cast of TRUE BLOOD, Alan Ball’s new vampire drama series for HBO, as a regular. “True Blood,” based on the “Southern Vampire” book series by Charlaine Harris, centers on the love story between a vampire, Bill (Stephen Moyer), and Sookie (Anna Paquin), a waitress who can read people’s minds. Skarsgard will play a vampire and Viking who has been alive for more than a thousand years.
