‘The Craft’ Sequel Officially Dead in the Water

We learned today that the sequel to 1996 teen witch movie, THE CRAFT, is officially dead in the water. Don’t keep your hopes up on seeing a sequel anytime soon. In the first film a newcomer to a Catholic prep high school falls in with a trio of outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft and they all soon conjure up various spells and curses against those who even slightly anger them. We’ll keep you posted if anything changes.

Got this info too late. I was so looking forward to finding a Craft 2 after reading a possible remake. This was a Great and Entertaining Film and was pleasant to look at the scenery as well. I could so easily see sequels to the movie no doubt which would be successful. I suppose it was killed due to all the fear and “blame” placed on movies for outbreaks of crime or perhaps people are afraid of a movie that could incite “spells” being put on them for being A/H’s. At any rate, I hope I will see a well made sequel to this movie at some point. What a Shame.
