Sometimes there are things that pop up on the internet that are so blatantly awesome that I cannot help but borrow a line from Mr. Disgusting in order to adequately describe my reaction to them. This…is one of those moments. I should preface that this is not an official crossover however, it is as close as you might ever get to seeing something like this happen. Thanks to ComicsAlliance you can take a look at the page that they made that dares to ask the question: what if “DEXTER” and “HACK/SLASH” crossed over for a good ol’ fashioned team-up to take on cinemas most notorious serial killer? The best horror themed television series today meets one of the best horror comics going? Read on for the awesome scoop!
Here at ComicsAlliance our team of Chris Sims and Rusty Shackles regularly explores the mashup potential of “Great Comics That Never Happened.” In that same spirit of sequential art adventure writer Scott Allie, artist Tim Seeley, colorist Dave Stewart and letterer Nate Piekos have banded together for a personal project (can we call it a “fun-shot?”) starring a host of qualified killers from comics, TV and film. That’s right, it’s “Dexter vs. Jason vs. Hack/Slash.”
This will probably never happen seeing as the properties are so scattered across so many different companies, but I think I can speak for everyone when I say this: bravo ComicsAlliance. Bravo. What say you?
