‘Dr Hyde’ Returns To The Illustrated Form To Take On Jack The Ripper This April

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a strange obsession with the case of Jack the Ripper. For some reason it has always appealed to my darkest curiosities. Of late we have been seeing a lot of Jack in the illustrated realm, but Dark Horse Comics might have the most interesting one yet as they have announced “THE STRANGE CASE OF MR HYDE” for April. The crossover doesn’t begin for another couple of months, but below you can check out the first details on the all new series.

WRITTEN BY: Cole Hadden
ILLUSTRATIONS BY: M.S. Corley
COLORS BY: Jim Campbell
COVERS BY: Corley.

“Sometimes good police work just isn’t enough, as Inspector Thomas Adye of Scotland Yard finds out when he’s assigned to the Jack the Ripper case. He’ll need the guidance of imprisoned madman and amoral libertine, Dr. Henry Jekyll, whose mind-splitting serum Jack might be using to commit his bloody murders. Written by Cole Haddon and illustrated by M.S. Corley, part 1 of Hyde sets in motion events that will pit London’s two greatest monsters against one another. Will Adye — and his soul — survive intact?”

“THE STRANGE CASE OF MR HYDE” Issue #1 Drops April 27th From Dark Horse Comics! (MSRP-$3.50)
