NHL Star’s Wife Joins ‘Friday the 13th’ Remake!
In addition to our massive breaking news last friday (the casting of Danielle Panabaker, Aaron Yoo and Travis Van Winkle), B-D reader ‘Ronald’ tipped us off to the latest casting news, which we confirmed this morning. “I am a hockey fan and I was just listening to NHL Live, which is a radio show/tv show on the NHL Network. There is a hockey player named Mike Madono who plays for the Dallas Stars. His wife is actress Willa Ford (oh, my, God pics inside) and she was on the show talking about her husband’s team and how they’re doing in the playoffs. After a while of talking to her, The host of the show asked her what she has been up to and she says that she has just been cast in the Friday the 13th remake. She said she went on a casting call and got the part.” She will be off to begin shooting as early as next week! Watch for more news soon. Jason Voorhees returns on February 13, 2009.
