Alone In The Dark’s 5th Game Is Looking MUCH More Promising Than The Movie

For those horror video game fans, horror fans, and horror video game movie fans, you may or may not be impressed with how video game movies turn out. The Doom movie was a GD joke. House Of The Dead, oh hey I have a great idea, lets stick in some mega pixelated clips from the video game! Resident Evils were good, but they should’ve stuck to the video game stories. Silent Hill was incredible, and Alone In The Dark the movie…..I mean, come on! Tara Reid trying to pass herself off as some scientist? Christian Slater as Edward Carnby, is just ridiculous! I could rant on for a long time about how disappointing video game movies have turned out, but I’ll save that for another day. What really keeps me at peace is knowing the video game manufactures of these games are still cranking out amazing games despite the terrible movies.

Resident Evil 5, Silent Hill 5, and Alone In The Dark 5. Doesn’t get much better than that. Well at least until the 6th version of all these games comes out, 666 right? Yeah sure. Here is a video of one of the creators talking about the game and some new elements in it that you probably have never seen in a survival horror game before. The video is in HD, so if your computer can’t handle it don’t click. Alone In The Dark

The game is said to be coming out in spring for PC, PS2, 360, and Wii. Not sure of the PS3 release date, though everything is pushed back for PS3.
