Black Veil Brides Release Video For The Legacy

Like ’em or not, Black Veil Brides are getting bigger and bigger. Personally, I’m not a fan but I can see how they fit into the Hot Topic scene (which is f*cking enormous). Honestly, they’re not too shabby when it comes to hard rock. Nothing to write home about but nothing that makes me want to shoot a baby panda in the face. However, what is the need for their look? Is all that make-up and leather really necessary? It’s like Marilyn Manson and Rob Halford popped out some children and BVB was born.

Anyways, after the jump you can watch their latest video for The Legacy, which comes off their upcoming album Set The World On Fire, out June 14th. My biggest issue with this song is that singer Andy Biersack’s vocals stand out in the mix. They actually remind me of Shakira‘s Hips Don’t Lie, where it sounded like she was ten feet in front of the music. Also, Andy’s vocals seem really dry and plain. I’m not saying that they should be saturated in effects, but a little reverb and perhaps a touch of delay wouldn’t be a bad thing.
