Say whatever you want, but the upcoming release of Evanescence‘s third album, which is self-titled, is generating a lot of industry and fan buzz. Considering that it’s been five years since The Open Door, it’s no wonder. Personally, I thought only Tool had that kind of staying power, but it looks like there is something about Amy Lee that keeps people drawn in. To tease fans just a little more, Evanescence has released the official artwork for the upcoming album, which drops October 11th. Personally, I think it’s a bit plain and uninventive. Check it out after the jump and let me know what YOU think.
