I know you’ve all been patiently waiting for this game to come out. And Project Origin seems to be the final name. Perhaps F.E.A.R.: Project Origin, so people will know the games a linked. Now Project Origin will be the sequel to the original F.E.A.R. game. I can get all fancy with the mumbo jumbo of what the game is about and use some big words you may or may not understand, but basically the game continues on with the story of “Alma” (the little girl with the long black hair that looks like she has been in every Japanese horror movie that has been remade in America since The Ring and The Grudge), who is set on hurting everything and everyone who has done her wrong. If you really want to know what set her off, check out the official site HERE.
You play as Michael Beckett, whose team is sent in to arrest Genevieve Aristide about thirty minutes before the end of the 1st F.E.A.R. game. And yes don’t worry, you will acquire the ability to bend time/slow it down.
The name Project Origin was actually chosen from a contest called “Name Your Fear” on June 4, 2007. Apparently over 400 of the submissions had used “Origin” in their title. And “Project” happened to be thrown into one of them. They tossed it around, liked it, kept it. Check out the latest trailer below.
