Sony recently announced they will be bringing the survival horror game released on the Playstation 2, to the Playstation 3. It will be called Siren: New Translation.
It will be a remake of the original Siren game, but there will be new playable characters, in the same Japanese town, but with new stories for the new people.
“In order to make the theme of the series — ‘fear rooted in the Japanese culture’ — more distinctive, we have decided to adopt the story from the perspective of a foreign culture,” says series director Keiichiro Toyama. “The game is set in the same location, but the role of the characters have changed. We have consciously kept the introduction similar, however the story overall will be different.”
