Resident Evil Revival Selection’s Trailer Shows Off Its New Look

Earlier today Capcom released a new trailer for their upcoming Revival Selection that bundles HD versions of both Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X. The video shows off each of the games’ crisp new looks by comparing gameplay from the originals to their upcoming remastered versions. They’ll be released in Japan on September 8th for ¥4,490 ($56) on a single Blu-ray disc for the PS3 and two discs for the Xbox 360. While no release date has been revealed for the North American games, we know they’ll be downloadable on XBLA and PSN sometime later this year.

They’re looking pretty good. Having gone through Resident Evil 4 at least a dozen times across all the platforms it was released on I’m looking forward to spending some more time with what I affectionately refer to as its sexy version. I only played through Code Veronica once so that’s also high on my to do list, I just hope I can get past the awful controls.
