Universal Brings ‘End of Days’ to Blu-ray
Universal Home Video has officially announced a Blu-ray release of END OF DAYS, which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gabriel Byrne. DVD Active reports that the Peter Hyams directed film will be available to own August 26th, and should retail at around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack. As far as we know, the only extra material will be a commentary with Director Peter Hyams. At the end of the century, Satan visits New York in search of a bride. It’s up to an ex-cop who now runs an elite security outfit to stop him.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
