Halloween Adventure ‘Trick ‘r Treat’ Still At Warner Bros.?
UPDATE: Warner Bros. made a mistake, read about it here: I’m being told this is NOT erroneous information – although I’m hearing mass confusion from both ends – as this afternoon Warner Bros. Pictures sent out a document stating what films each publicist is working on later this year, and next. One film included on the list was Mike Dougherty’s Trick ‘r Treat (review; set visit), which we were told was dropped from the studio a few months back. We put in a call with the studio who confirmed, so it looks as if we still might get to see this awesome movie in theaters soon! We’re trying to find out more as we speak. The film features four interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the one guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; and a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband.
