Unstable Ground Unveils Horror Slate

Canadian producers Unstable Ground have unveiled their upcoming horror film development slate, consisting of 3 features: THE ETERNAL, DELIVER US and NEW GENERATION. In the coming weeks cast announcements and more details will be available for the first film, “The Eternal”. In the mean time, read on for the skinny on this announcement.
“The Eternal” is a feature-length follow-up to the short film “Ending The Eternal”. It follows the story of Samuel Gradius, a 500-year-old vampire that wants to die, and seeks a warrior’s death. The film will be directed by Justin McConnell (whose last feature, the metal/music documentary “Working Class Rock Star” will be released on DVD in North American on November 11th). More details and the prequel short can be seen online at the film’s official website.

The short prequel was also shown this past weekend as part of the official shorts program at the Rue Morgue Festival of Fear in Toronto, and will be shown at the Edmonton International Film Festival on October 3rd. Rue Morgue Magazine recently reviewed the film in Issue #81.

Unstable Ground were exhibitors at the Rue Morgue Festival of Fear over the last weekend. The crew and “Eternal” lead actor Adam Wilson were on hand to meet fans and sell copies of the short film on DVD.
