TIFF ’08: ‘Deadgirl’ Directors Talks Coming-of-Age Horror

One of the most talked about movies playing at this year’s Midnight Madness portion of the Toronto International Film Festival is Deadgirl, a new coming-of-age horror film that is being called “this year’s MANDY LANE.” Today we posted our exclusive interview with directors Marcel Sarmiento & Gadi Harel who talk about the horror/thriller about two teenagers who make a shocking discovery that not only threatens their friendship but also their lives. In a forgotten room of an abandoned asylum, they find a beautiful woman tied to a bed, and soon come to realize she is anything but dead.
