Bloody Disgusting learned today that French directors Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo have officially left Dimension’s planned sequel to Rob Zombie’s Halloween, which they had been writing over the past few months with the intention on directing. No replacements have been mentioned, but we’re told that the Weinsteins have been asking Zombie to return as a producer. After the monster success of INSIDE, Maury and Bustillo haven’t had much luck with Dimension as their remake of HELLRAISER also fell through. We’re rooting for them here at BD and are dying for them to get behind the cameras again soon.
